LEI Lookup
kycLook up a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) in the Global LEI Index, by LEI, by company registration number (CIN or LLPIN) or by company name. Returns the legal name, registration number, legal and head-office address, entity status, and whether the LEI is currently valid for regulatory use (ISSUED) or has lapsed. RBI requires an LEI for large-value payments and for borrowers above set exposure limits. Name searches return up to 10 entities ranked by how closely the name matches.

Authentication
Pass your key in the X-API-Key header. Use a test_ key against the sandbox and a live_ key in production. Send an optional Idempotency-Key header to safely retry — the same key returns the same response for 24h.

The trailing slash is required. /v1/lei-lookup-v1/ works; /v1/lei-lookup-v1 returns 404 Not Found. This applies to every product.
